On October 16-17, 2017, several IT executives joined hosts Alan Seiden, Jon Paris, Susan Gantner and Paul Tuohy in Minneapolis for an exclusive, complimentary 2-day event focused on exploring ways to leverage their IBM i investments.
Participants exchanged tips and brainstormed ideas for addressing common challenges faced by IBM i CIOs and IT Directors — managing new technology, hiring the right skills, delivering enhancements, integrations and new applications on time/on budget, where to begin with application modernization, and many other topics.
We’re planning additional CIO Summits for 2018. Seating is always limited and reserved for CIOs or IT Directors who manage application development. Let us know if you’d like to be notified of upcoming events.
DAY 1: Ideas & Problem-Solving at Capella Tower
The first day featured facilitated, open discussion among peers on a variety of topics, plus a brief look at how one company has successfully attracted and trained new developers. We also gained insights from two talented new-to-IBM i developers.
DAY 2: Team Building at the RPG & DB2 Summit
On Tuesday, CIO guests attended a series of strategy sessions and a round-table discussion with IBM i development experts Jon Paris, Susan Gantner and Paul Tuohy. There was also plenty of time to connect with other high-profile development gurus, share ideas with their developers and expand their networks.
